Deco Hacienda • Los Angeles
Herringbone Design meticulously restored this extraordinary, 1927 Deco-Hacienda by architect Frederick Monhoff. Crisp, white walls were paired with ebonized floors, to celebrate & amplify the original architectural details. The rhythmic repetition of windows and doors found throughout the home were painted a soothing green, to create a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors. The bathrooms and kitchen were remodeled with sensitivity & care to respect to the houses vintage, and extensive work was done in the private courtyards to create beautiful outdoor rooms. We believe Mr. Monhoff would be pleased.
